Everything works out in the end... eventually!

This is a hard concept to swallow when you're smack dab in the middle of a crisis that feels like it can't get any better. But, guess what? It always works out in the end. We have a bad habit of focusing on the here and now when it comes to our problems/crises, instead of looking at the big picture. And, don't get me wrong, when you're in the middle of something that needs your attention, yes, you'll have to focus on the here and now. However, that doesn't mean you can't see a future or way to the finish line. Our problems/crises are temporary. That doesn't mean we don't feel the effects of them or suffer trauma, but, in the end, you come out of it. Somehow, you come out of it.
Let's do a little exercise here. Think about a time when you were struggling. Now, ask yourself these questions:
how did you cope while you were in the struggle?
how did it turn out?
did it turn out how you expected it to?
could you see the silver linings?
How did you do with those questions? Were you able to think of a time of crisis in your life that you got through?
Stay for some clichés, won't you?:
Life never throws anything your way that you can't handle.
You've done it before, you can do it again.
You're smarter and stronger than you think.
Clichés? Maybe. But, I happen to believe in them. Going through something now doesn't mean you will be in it forever and it's important to focus on what you can take from your experiences by embracing them. Think on them and find the lesson life wants you to learn. There's always a lesson.
If you're going through something in this very moment, I want you to sit and take a moment for yourself and SEE the way out. See yourself on the other side, celebrating happily. And, if you're not in the middle of something at the moment, take a moment and think about all of the lessons that life has given you and find a way to share them with someone.
You never know who you're going to help by just being you.
Be Kind!
